“Collection 01” emerges as a detraction to industrial and mass production, represented in the white stackable monoblock chair. It is an item that inevitably exists in any context (but is rarely related to it) and will never cease to exist, thanks to its immortal lack of biodegradability. I also relate the white unisex shirt to this concept, repeated (even without some getting fed up) in identical series that -like the white stackable monobloc chairs- advance unstoppably over any pre-existing culture.
In contrast to this mass production, I find myself, and manual/artisanal work. Inspired by an industrial designer, who creates a stackable monobloc chair made of natural fibers and an ecological binder, making it biodegradable, and the unisex white shirt as an item and its classic molding, Collection 01 arises. Part of reinventing a white shirt, to my way, giving it volume and a manual intervention, respecting its classic conditions such as collars, cuffs, bag, with the aim of highlighting and emphasizing the complexity of craftsmanship and its value, supported by the nobility of natural fibers.
