FORM REASERCH: FREEZING GARMENTS THAT ARE FROZEN IN TIMEMATERIAL REASERCH: BIOMATERIALS

Guided by instinct and driven by anxiety about the fashion industry’s environmental impact, I aim to do garments that carry a message of conscience and education. This silent protest urges us to rethink our relationship with garments, slow down, and appreciate their value. By transforming mundane garments into sculptural pieces, I celebrate normality and want to make people think and challenge perceptions of how things are supposed to be, by exploring the deeper meanings garments hold for us and reconsider garments we often overlook. By making them unreproducible and sometimes uncomfortable, I hope to provoke thought and reflection. My work explores the transition from textile research to garments, examining shape and space with natural materials, questioning iconic pieces, and embracing a slower pace of creation.
